Concepts
Toyota is capitilizing on its investment in hybrid technology by introducing a full-hybrid version of the mid-sized Highlander SUV. Toyota claims a significant increase in mileage and a slight increase performance when compared to the non-hybrid models. The RAV4 was one of the pioneering compact SUV models and is entering its third generation significantly larger with more usable cargo hauling capability. The slow-selling ECHO models have been discontinued and will be replaced next year with the Yaris compact as sold in Europe. Next up for Toyota is a complete redesign of the Toyota Camry sedan.
