Dodge makes amends to its dealers by giving them a Charger sedan to sell alongside the Magnum station wagon. Although many thought the name should be reserved for a coupe, the modern Charger is an aggressively styled sedan with the throwback V8/RWD combination that has intrigued so many over the last 2 years. Dodge may lay claim to the best towing vehicle with the new Ram MegaCab. MegaCab adds some 20" to the cabin greatly increasing the rear seat legroom - a notable sore spot with most trucks. All Rams enjoy a significant refreshing with appearance and mechanical changes. A new Viper coupe joins the convertible to hold down the upper end of Dodge bragging rights. The Neon compact sedan leaves the lineup to be replaced next year by a 5-door model dubbed Caliber.
