First Drive: 2007 Saturn Aura XR

As the long overdue replacement for the unremarkable Saturn L-Series midsize sedan, the new Aura steps into a crowded marketplace. The Aura is the latest variant of a platform shared with the Saab 9-3, Pontiac G6, and Chevrolet Malibu. Equipped with a standard 224-bhp 3.5L V-6 or an optional 252-bhp 3.6L V-6, the Aura is Saturn's midsize competitor to the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, and Nissan Altima.
