The mid-sized, front-wheel-drive Zephyr is Lincoln's entry-level model. It is intended to draw first-time (younger) buyers to the Lincoln brand. The Zephyr offers clean exterior styling with modern lighting, a highly styled interior with a standard power leather seats, and other upscale interior trim appointements like aluminum and wood. For customization, optional features include a DVD-based navigation system and the unique THX-II certified audio system. The all-new Lincoln Zephyr becomes Lincoln's entry-level offering. The 5-passenger, mid-sized sedan is based on Ford's CD3 architecture from the Mazda6.
