The XF is a new sedan from Jaguar aimed at the middle of the luxury car market. The clean styling is a strong break from traditional Jaguar styling cues. This should appeal to those consumers who found recent Jaguar designs to be a bit stodgy. Derived from the S-type, the XF is roughly the same size as the BMW 5-Series, and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, two of its competitors. The interior of the Jaguar is just as modern with an instrument panel that favors aluminum trim over wood. Jaguar offers a range of powertrain options including a fuel-efficient four-cylinder, and supercharged V6 and V8 engines. All-wheel-drive is also available (V6 only) for those that worry about all weather driving.

What Changed:

A new XFR-S model becomes the top-performing sedan in the XF lineup. The supercharged 5.0l V8 is rated at 550-bhp an increase of 40-bhp. The XFR-S includes a stiffer suspension, 265/35R20 tires in the front and 295/30R20 tires in the rear. Visual differences include aggressive front styling, lower side sills and a large rear spoiler.
