A hybrid model is offered for buyers more concerned with fuel economy. The ILX will be offered with a Premium package that includes heated leather seats and active sound cancellation to quiet the cabin. Like other Acura models, an optional Technology package adds ELS surround audio and a navigation system. The ILX is manufactured in Ohio.

What Changed:

The new ILX is a small front-wheel-drive sedan based on the Honda Civic. The base engine on the ILX is a 2.0l four-cylinder rated at 150-bhp. An optional 2.4l four-cylinder engine produces 201 horsepower and is only offered with a six-speed manual. The ILX lineup will also include a hybrid model which pairs a 1.5l four-cylinder engine with a small electric motor to boost power and regenerate power on braking.
