Overview Information
Hyundai has done a great job transforming the Santa Fe into a sleek, chiseled SUV. The larger body allows Hyundai to package a 3rd row seat into the Santa Fe. The size increase is sufficient to put the Santa Fe on par with most mid-sized SUVs on the market. Two different V6 powertrains are offered. The base 2.7L V6 is rated at 185hp, whereas the 3.3L V6 found in SE and Limited models is rated at 242 hp. Both FWD and AWD versions are offered. With its aggressive pricing, Hyundai should have no trouble grabbing a larger chunk of the SUV market.
