First Drive: 2007 Acura MDX
Acura has quietly attracted a loyal following of MDX customers since this SUV debuted in late 2000. In the interim, the car-based SUV segment (otherwise known as crossovers or CUVs) has grown significantly. While Acura progressively updated styling and extracted more power from the 3.5L V-6, it was clearly time for a completely redesigned MDX. So for 2007, the new MDX debuts with a fresh design, a 300-bhp 3.7L V-6, and more sophisticated options.
