The Sebring had long enjoyed success as one of the few reasonably priced convertibles with seating for four. With numerous viable competitors, the redesigned 2008 Sebring convertible attempts to cover its bets by offering several different models ranging from a budget-oriented four-cylinder model with a vinyl roof to the top of the line 3.5L V6 model with a retractable hardtop.
The all-new four-passenger Chryser Sebring convertible features new styling and larger proportions. Length, width and height have increased by 2-3 inches. Three new available powertrains include a 173-bhp four-cylinder, a 189-bhp V6, and a 235-bhp V6. Depending on trim level, the Sebring convertible is offered with either a vinyl, cloth or retractable hardtop convertible.
