Overview Information

A rugged luxury SUV slotted between the car-like RX330 and the LX470, the GX470 is like a 7/8 scale version of the LX470. A 4.7L V-8 and 5-speed automatic are the only powertrain available. Although the GX470 shares the same platform as the Toyota 4Runner, it features KDSS (Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System) that reduces body roll & sway up to 50% during cornering, without compromising ride. KDSS allows the GX470 to have much larger anti-roll bars to improve handling, but hydraulically decouples them over bumps to reduce suspension stiffness. Traction Control (TRAC), ABS, Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), Downhill Assist Control (DAC) and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) provide maximum safety on the road and off-road. Interior luxury options include a rear seat DVD entertainment system, DVD Navigation, and a premium Mark Levinson audio system.
