Value driven compact car
Overview Information
The Rio5 no longer looks like a bargain basement economy car. Kia has redesigned the Rio5 with crisp, dynamic styling that looks European, not Korean. A practical 5-door hatchback body provides maximum passenger and cargo capacity. The standard 1.6L I-4 puts out 110-bhp, and can be mated to 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic. Comprehensive standard features such as air conditioning, side-curtain airbags, and 15-inch alloy wheels, make the Rio5 a great value in the compact segment.

The completely redesigned Rio sedan and Rio5 five-door made quite a splash during their first year on the market, receiving Autobytel's "Editor's Choice for Most Improved New Car," and ranking highest for initial quality in the subcompact segment in the J.D. Power and Associates 2006 Initial Quality Study SM (IQS)¹. Rio has also been recognized as one of the most fuel efficient vehicles on the market by the Environmental Protection Agency and JD Power and Associates....Read.
