The least expensive sporty coupe with a V-6 and a 6-speed manual.
Overview Information
Tiburon is a sharp-looking small coupe geared for more enthusiastic driving than most Hyundai products. GS versions of the FWD come with a 138hp 2.0L 4-cylinder engine. GT and SE versions include a 172hp 2.7L V6 which is almost unheard of in this size and class of vehicle. The SE pairs the V6 with a 6-speed manual which is also unique in the class. Unfortunately both engines are a bit underpowered compared to other small coupes. The Tiburon is a unique vehicle but a bit overpriced when compared to other offerings like the Civic Si/EX, Cobalt, and Scion TC.
What Changed:
Facelifted Tiburon features redesigned front fascia, hood, headlamps, and front fenders. In the rear, Tiburon wears a new rear fascia, taillights and exhaust tips. Instrumentation features new blue backlit gauges.
