Suzuki sells the handsome Verona, made by Daewoo, as its midsize sedan. An unusual 2.5L inline-6 and 4-speed automatic are the standard powertrain. Although the 155-bhp I-6 is very smooth, it has no more power than Suzuki's own 2.3L I-4. Suzuki equips the Verona with a comprehensive list of standard features, and pricing is quite aggressive. However, the Verona is smaller than other midsize cars, which puts it at a disadvantage as a family sedan candidate.
