At its core, the Scion xB is a boxy, roomy economy car with many accessories for owners to personalize their vehicle. The 103-bhp from the 1.5L I-4 is best harnessed to the standard 5-speed manual, although an available 4-speed automatic offers slightly better EPA highway fuel economy. Apple® iPod owners will be pleased to know that the 160-watt Pioneer® CD audio system can control their mp3 player. LED interior lighting, carbon fiber interior trim, fog lights, and sport pedals are just some of the available accessories. A limited edition (2,200 vehicles) xB Release 3.0 has unique Envy Green paint and other special exterior trim. Inside, an Alpine® DVD audio/video system is standard, as well as dual headrest mounted LCD monitors.
