Freestar has more safety and a fold-flat 3rd row seat
Overview Information
The Windstar gets renamed to Freestar for the 2004 model year. The updated model features an all-new interior including fold-flat 3rd-row seating. Power is provided by a choice of 3.9L or 4.2L V6 engines coupled to a 4-speed automatic. Freestar offers a host of safety features including side canopy air bags and a stability control system. Freestar goes on sale Fall, 2003.
