The 2003 model year is huge for Honda.

Honda finally replaces the Isuzu-based Passport with an 8-passenger SUV that draws heavily from the best-in-class Odyssey minivan and Acura MDX SUV. A generous interior and 8-passenger seating should overcome the slightly conservative outward appearance.

The all-new Element activity vehicle attempts to attract younger males to the brand with a distinctively styled vehicle that is quite versatile and very competitively priced.

The Civic sedan gains a gasoline-electric hybrid version that puts the technology-leading powertrain of the Insight into a more mainstream vehicle.

As if this weren't enough, the Accord sedan and coupe are all-new for 2003. This time around, the Accord strikes out with more aggressive styling, more power and more creature comfort gadgets.
