The SULEV Prius sedan has a hybrid gasoline/electric powertrain. A 70-bhp/1.5L I-4 is combined with a 44-bhp (33 kW) electric motor. The Toyota Hybrid System (THS) balances output from the engine and electric motor. A DVD navigation system is optional.
