Overview Information

For 2002 Jeep introduced the Liberty Renegade, a new model that features a roof-mounted light bar, 16-inch alloy wheels, and aluminum interior trim. A 3.7L V-6 (210 bhp/235 lb.-ft.) is standard with 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual. The Renegade is available in 2WD & 4WD models. A 2.4 inline-4 is the standard base powerplant for other Liberty models. Outside the US, a 2.5L inline-4 turbodiesel (140 bhp/253 lb.-ft.) is an option.
