Overview Information
An all-new C-Class is restyled with a 168-bhp/177 lb-ft. 2.6L V6 (C240) and a 215-bhp/221 lb.-ft. 3.2L V6 (C320) engines. A 6-speed manual is standard with the C240. A 5-speed automatic with Touch Shift equips the C320. Comprehensive safety features distinguish the C-Class from most competitors. Over the next 12-18 months, wagon and hatchback coupe variants will be introduced. The coupe will be powered by a supercharged 2.3L inline-4 from the SLK.
Official Word:
The C-Class will be the most youthful and exuberant cars in our model line. For many buyers - and for a wider variety of customers - this will be their first Mercedes.
