2007 Meadow Brook Concours
The Meadow Brook Concours is one of the premier events for classic car connoisseurs. Each year a significant marque is highlighted for its contributions to automotive engineering or design. For 2007, the honor went to Alfa Romeo, which showed three B.A.T. concept cars from the the 1950s. Rare race cars from the early 1930s showcased Alfa Romeo's long history of advanced engineering. The stunning new Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione debuted at Meadow Brook to herald Alfa's upcoming return to the US market. Other significant entries at the Concours included Bugattis, Mercedes-Benzes, and Peugeots seldom seen by the public. The usual selection of Cadillacs, Packards, and Duesenbergs rounded out a fine selection of unique automobiles gathered together at Meadow Brook Hall.
