      2013 Chevrolet Spark

      The Korean built Spark becomes the new entry-level model in Chevrolet's US lineup. The small Spark is about 15 inches shorter than the Chevrolet Sonic. A 1.2l four-cylinder engine produces 85-bhp and can be paired with either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission.

      The Hyundai Elantra Touring is replaced with a more aggressively styled five-door model for the 2013 model year. The new Elantra GT has a shorter wheelbase and wider track. Overall length has decreased by almost 7 inches reducing legroom and cargo capacity somewhat. The smaller displacement 1.8l is more powerful and fuel efficient than prior models 2.0l. Only one trim level is offered.

      2014 Porsche Cayman

      Porsche's entry-level coupe is all-new for 2014. Although the new model is nearly identical in length and width, it is lower with a significantly longer wheelbase and wider track. The base powertrain is a 2.7l horizontal six-cylinder rated at 275-bhp. The Cayman S equips a 3.4l six-cylinder now rated at 325-bhp. Both engines are available with either a six-speed manual transmission or seven-speed automated gearbox. In typical Porsche fashion, styling changes are subtle.

      2013 SRT Viper

      The iconic Viper returns as an SRT branded model. Although the new model is a little wider and taller, it is otherwise nearly identical in size to the previous generation. Power is provided by 8.4l V10 engine rated at 640-bhp. A six-speed manual is the only available transmission. Extensive use of new materials has brought the weight of the Viper down by 50-100 lbs depending on the comparison.

    • 2013 Honda CR-Z

      Honda made a number of updates to the CR-Z for the 2013 model year. Exterior styling changes include a new front fascia, updated colors and wheel finishes. Changes on the inside include metallic trim and redesigned door panels. The hybrid powertrain receives a new Lithium-Ion battery pack. Power and fuel-economy ratings increase slightly.

    • 2013 Honda Crosstour

      The 2013 Crosstour has updated exterior and interior styling. Six-cylinder models are now paired with a six-speed automatic transmission for improved fuel economy.

    • 2013 Nissan 370Z

      The 2013 Z wears a redesigned front fascia with a larger front opening and vertical LED running lamps.
