Although the GMC brand largely duplicates Chevrolet's truck products, strong "professional grade" branding keeps buyers coming back for more. This year, GMC's full-sized SUV lineup gets a fuel economy boost with the addition of a two-mode hybrid model. The Yukon hybrid pairs two electric motors with the automatic transmission to allow electric-only operation under some driving conditions. The net result is a vehicle with improved fuel economy that retains the truck characteristics buyers are looking for.
