Audi's mid-engine sports car, the R8, is available in both coupe and convertible (Spyder) forms. Power is provided to all four wheels by a 5.2L V10 engine. The quattro AWD system has a rear-wheel torque bias, but can send torque to the front wheels to improve traction.

The R8 was redesigned for 2017. A 540-bhp V10 engine is standard in the R8 V10.
