The Chevrolet SS is a full-size, rear-wheel-drive sedan built by Holden in Australia. General Motors sold a similar vehicle as the Pontiac G8, but that model met its demise with the Pontiac brand in 2009. Offered in just one fully-equipped trim level, the SS sedan equips a 6.2l V8 rated at 415-bhp paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The only true competitive vehicles for the SS are the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger, both offering more powertrain and equipment options for less money.
