2014 Dodge Dart Blacktop

2016 Dodge Dart

In this crowded segment, the Dart is one of the larger vehicles on the market with slightly more legroom and interior volume than segment leaders like the Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra and Toyota Corolla. Chrysler drew on its global resources to create the Dart and the European influence shows in areas like powerful and efficient engines, fully-independent suspension and standard disc brakes. Three different engines are offered for 2014. The base engine is a 160-bhp 2.0l four-cylinder. High-mileage Aero models equip a turbocharged 1.4l four-cylinder, whereas performance models equip a larger displacement 2.4 liter for more power. Like other Chrysler products, the Dart is available in a several trim levels with a variety of options, packages, colors and special editions to ensure there is a model to suit everyone's taste. Although the base model is aggressively priced below $18,000, well equipped models start at $20,000 which is the norm for this competitive segment.
