The Smart electric drive is an EV variant of the fortwo coupe and cabriolet. Power is provided by a 74-bhp electric motor. A 17.6 kWh lithium ion battery provides a range of up to 68 miles in combined (city/hwy) usage. The electric drive models are only available in select markets in 2013.
