The Hyundai Elantra is also available in a coupe body style. Compact coupes are rare; the only direct competitors are the Honda Civic, Kia Forte and Scion tC. A 2.0l four-cylinder engine is the only engine available. With 173-bhp, the Elantra has more power than the standard Honda Civic. The coupe is offered with just one option, a technology package. The technology package adds leather seating, a sunroof and a navigation system.

The Elantra coupe is now offered in just one unnamed trim level. An optional Technology package is the only option. A new 2.0l four-cylinder engine becomes the new standard engine. The 2014 model also has a revised suspension. A new grille appearance with a blacked out center section differentiates the new model.
