The Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is a small entry-level crossover. The Outlander Sport is a shorter version of the Outlander SUV paired with Mitsubishi's smaller 2.0l four cylinder engine. Mitsubishi offers the Outlander Sport in both FWD and AWD models with a CVT transmission standard on all but the base model.

The Outlander Sport wears updated exterior styling for the 2013 model year. Changes include a new front fascia, side sills, rear bumper and wheel designs. Mechanical changes are limited to an updated CVT transmission and revised rear suspension. Production moves to the United States.
