Mitsubishi showcased the facelifted 2002 Galant at the 2001 Chicago Auto Show. The CAS Galant had aftermarket accessories such as: 18-inch Moda R3 wheels, Yokohama Parada 225/40R18 tires, Eibach springs, and an HKS exhaust system. Mitsubishi demonstrated how the Galant could be personalized for individual customers. Styling changes for 2002 include a new front fascia with projector beam lights, and rear red-tinted clear lens taillights. The official introduction for the 2002 Galant is scheduled for the NY Auto Show in April.
