The Caliber is a roomy 5-door hatchback powered by a variety of 4-cylinder engines. Updates to the interior and option packages have made the Caliber more competitive since its launch. A 2.0l four-cylinder engine is now the sole offering. The 2012 model year is likely the last as Dodge prepares for the launch of the 2013 Dodge Dart.

The lineup is reduced to one engine and three trim levels.
