The C30 is a compact 3-door hatchback from Volvo. The C30 has a unique interior with four bucket seats. Access to the cargo area is through a small inner hatch that doubles as the rear window. Introduced in 2008, the C30 has seen a number of changes over the years. The current model is powered by a unique five-cylinder turbo rated at 227-bhp. Although the C30 has sufficient power to feel sporty, its fuel economy ratings of 21/30 (city/highway) are somewhat underwhelming. The C30 is positioned as a premium model with a base price of over $25,000. This places the C30 in competition with models like the Volkswagen GTI and the Mini Cooper.
