Once called the Discovery, the LR4 is the latest version of Land Rover's mid-range offering. With optional seating for up to 7 passengers, the LR4 is the most mainstream vehicle offered by Land Rover. A number of significant changes for the 2010 model year included a new 5.0L V8 engine and updated interior and exterior styling.

Land Rover made a number of minor option and trim level changes to the 2011 LR4.
