The uniquely styled Element was originally pitched as a type of backpack for young active males. Many buyers have found that the Element offers sensible all-wheel-drive utility for suburban duty. The orginal matte-finish composite fenders are no longer offered. The interior features spill-proof surfaces. The doors provide good access to the back, but are tricky to operate in parking spaces. Only 2 passengers can sit in the rear seat, but they will enjoy almost limousine-like leg room.
