The Dodge Ram started the "semi-truck" styling trend that is so popular with image-conscious customers. Although the latest Ram remains broad-shouldered and angular, its appeal seems limited to consumers looking primarily for style and power, as opposed to the tradesmen who seem to prefer Ford and GM. The Ram 1500 line offers in three cab styles including a full-sized crew cab. Three bed lengths and five overall trim levels ensure that there is a Ram for all tastes.

Dodge trucks are now marketed under a separate brand name of Ram trucks. A new Outdoorsman trim level replaces the TRX model. A new Laramie Longhorn model will be offered with a full leather interior.
