Audi's halo sports car, the R8, is now available in a convertible form. A mid-mounted 525-bhp 5.2L V-10 drives all four wheels via a 6-speed manual or automated manual transmission. The quattro AWD system has a strong 85% rear-wheel torque bias, but can send as much as 30% to the front wheels to improve traction. Standard equipment includes 19-inch alloy wheels, adjustable magnetic ride suspension, LED headlights and a Bang & Olufsen sound system. The R8 Spyder offers wheel, leather and carbon fiber packages to allow owners to customize their R8.

Audi's halo sports car, the R8, is now available in a convertible form. This all-wheel-drive mid-engine sports car is powered by a 5.2l V10 engine rated at 525-bhp. Buyers can choose from either the traditional six-speed manual or the six-speed automated manual transmission with paddle shifters. Compared to the coupe, the R8 is almost identical in size, but gains about 100 lbs of curb weight.
