VW has a sleek 4-seat hardtop convertible that is positioned above the Beetle Convertible. The Eos is equipped with a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine. The hardtop can be raised or lowered in 25 seconds, and transforms the convertible Eos into a secure coupe. Even with the top stowed, the Eos has 205 litres of cargo space. A powerful Dynaudio stereo system with 10-speakers and 600-watts is available. Swiveling headlights can follow curves for better visibility at night. Safety features include head-thorax side airbags and a rollover protection system.

The Eos receives a new leather-wrapped steering wheel and a revised instrument cluster.
