The Volvo C70 was one of the first of a new breed of hardtop convertibles. The C70 is equipped with a 2.5L inline-5 turbo, and a 5-speed automatic. A power retractable hardtop improves security and safety, with no compromises. An optional Dynaudio(R) CD stereo system has 12 speakers, dual subwoofers, and a staggering 910 watts total system power. Like all Volvos, the C70 has a comprehensive set of safety features.

The updated C70 wears a new front fascia, grille, headlamps and fenders. Inside the new C70 has a revised instrument panel. The manual transmission is no longer offered.
