The Eclipse range includes the stylish Spyder. Trim levels include the GS, with a 162-bhp 2.4L I-4 or the faster GT with its 265-bhp 3.8L V-6. The convertible power top is fully lined for reduced noise and improved insulation. A glass rear window has a built-in defroster for better rear visibility.

Manual transmissions have been dropped.
