The SL is the top luxury GT convertible from Mercedes-Benz. With a lineage that dates back to the SSK and SSKL of the 1930's, the SL is the benchmark in this segment. With power to spare, the retractable hardtop SL convertible is all about indulgence. Engine choices include two V8s and two V-12s. Only 5-speed or 7-speed automatic transmissions are available.
