Once called the Discovery, the LR4 is the latest version of Land Rover's mid-range offering. With optional seating for up to 7 passengers, the LR4 is the most main stream vehicle offered by Land Rover. A number of significant changes for the 2010 model year included a new 5.0L V8 engine and updated interior and exterior styling.

With a new powertrain, new interior and revised styling the LR3 becomes the LR4. Like the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, the LR4 has a new 5.0L V8 under the hood. The normally-aspirated version in the LR4 is rated at 375-bhp. Exterior styling changes include new front bumpers and restyled lights with jewel-like lenses. The interior has been completely redesigned.
