A 6-series convertible takes the large coupe in a new direction. Staying close to the formula of the coupe version, the 650i convertible adds a power-operated soft top and manages to keep a tight but usable rear seat. As the market moves quickly to hard-top convertibles, it will remain to be seen if this is a liability for a BMW priced at $85,000.
