The XJ8L stretched wheelbase model provides additional rear legroom. The Vanden Plas (based on the XJ8L chassis) offers power rear seats, even more wood trim, and exotic lamb's wool carpets. Performance enthusiasts will prefer the sporty XJR with its supercharged V-8, firmer suspension, 19-inch wheels with Brembo® brakes, and an aggressive mesh grille. The Super V8 model takes the supercharged 4.2L engine, mates it to the long wheelbase chassis, adds DVD Navigation, and a rear entertainment system with dual TV monitors.
