With such a low starting price, options add up quickly. A preferred option package adds power windows, air conditioning and other nice features but boosts the MSRP over $14k with an automatic. The SE model makes a more compelling upgrade offering alloy wheels, V-rated tires and standard power equipment for around $16k.

Minor powertrain tweaks result in improved EPA mileage estimates. Cruise control is now offered.
