The A6 Avant is a luxury wagon that appeals to a select few. Unlike its sedan counterpart, the only available engine is the 255-bhp 3.2L V-6. All models are equipped with a 6-speed Tiptronic(R) automatic and quattro(R) AWD. Up to 58.6 cu. ft. of cargo space is available with the rear seats folded.

The A6 wears new front end styling with a revised bumper and grille. The headlamps now incorporate LED daytime running lights. An all-new 3.0L V6 rated at 300-bhp becomes the standard engine in Avant models. The tradmark quattro system features a new 40/60 asymmetric rear bias.
