Acura has a legitimate contender in the all-new RL. The RL boasts a number of performance, design, technological and safety features. The powertrain features a 3.5L V6 and a 5-speed automatic. Power is sent to all 4 wheels with the SH-AWD (TM) system. This system varies torque front/back and side/side on the rear axle. ABS and stability control are standard. The interior is finished in leather, wood and aluminum trim with LED backlit instrumention. Active noise cancellation quiets the cabin, and a satellite navigation system incorporates real-time traffic information to avoid traffic jams in big cities. The exterior styling is restrained, yet sporty enough to compete against the Audi A6, Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5-series competitors.
