2006 Toyota 4Runner

2007 Toyota 4Runner

Toyota has established the 4Runner as a capable midsize SUV. The latest model adds a more luxurious interior, but also has improved off-road capabilities. An available removable 3rd row seat allows the 4Runner to carry seven, but it can be replaced with a double-decker cargo system to haul more gear instead. The standard 236-bhp 4.0L V-6 can be substituted with a 260-bhp 4.7L V-8 for better towing capability (up to 7,300 lbs.). Both engines are coupled to a 5-speed automatic transmission. 4Runners are available in 2WD or full-time 4WD models with either powerplant. A Torsen® center differential is standard on 4WD 4Runners. Options include: voice-activated DVD navigation, JBL® 6-disc CD audio system, 3rd row folding seats, height adjustable rear suspension, and a novel X-REAS sport enhancement suspension.
