As the classic American sports car, the Corvette is power and style personified. It is a great performance value that matches cars costing twice as much. A 6.0L and 7.0L V-8 (Z06 only) is coupled to 6-speed manual or paddle-shift automatic (N/A on Z06). The Z06 has uprated brakes, larger wheels, run-flat tires, and lighter magnesium chassis components. Three suspension calibrations and Active Handling vehicle dynamics control are available.

A larger glove compartment and new Atomic Orange Metallic color are new. The price of the Z06 was significantly increased.
