The Ford E-Series (E-150, E-250, E-350, E-450) is a favorite of contractors and conversion van companies. Variants include: Commercial Van, Recreational Van, XL, XLT and Chateau Wagon models. Gasoline engine options include a 4.6L V-8, 5.4L V-8, and a 6.8L V-10. A 6.0L V-8 Powerstroke® diesel is also available. Transmissions include 4-speed and 5-speed automatics. AdvanceTrac® vehicle stability control is standard on 12 and 15-passenger vans. Towing capacity can be up to 10,000 lbs.

Electronic throttle control and engine oil cooler becomes standard on all E-Series models. Larger rear anti-roll bar and driveshaft increase capacity of E-150 models.
