The VW Concept A is a tall 4-door coupe with off-road capability. The rear doors are reverse opening for easy access to the interior. More interesting is the Concept A powerplant, which is the new 150-bhp 1.4L Twincharger, equipped with a supercharger and turbocharger. This innovative engine runs on compressed natural gas for extremely low emissions. The Twincharger engine mates to a 6-speed automatic. VW claims a top speed of 200 km/h (124 mph) for the Concept A.
