The Kabura is a stylish small sports coupe concept utilizing the preferred front-engine/rear-wheel drive layout of the Miata and RX-8. Kabura features a unique 3+1 interior layout. By removing the glove box, the passenger seat can slide 6 inches farther forward than the driver allowing more legroom for both passenger side occupents. The passenger side features a pocket-style rear access door to ease rear seat entry. Kabura also features a glass roof with electronically controlled opacity. Mazda is reportedly working on a smaller sports coupe to fit below the RX-8. The KABURA compact sports coupe concept may give some clues to the production vehicle.
